Europe Tour Day 2 - Bad Reichenhall / Salzburg
February 6, 2008 by Jan Welch
The early morning drive to Bad Riechenhall. Jon was part-man part-machine on this 6 hour demon hell ride thru half of Germany. Redbull, Segafredo and a awesome AM college radio station… no problem.
Gas Station off the Autobahn.
We arrived to Gagi’s house around five in the morning and met up with Justin and Wes from One. Suprisingly everyone was still up and about despite the time, these kids know how to party.
Wes loading the trunk of the Roomster on the way to Ignition skateshop the next morning. 6 people in one car means someone’s gotta ride in the truck with all that stuff…
One our way to Ignition Skateshop, the scenery is quite pleasant.
The view of the drive to Ignition Skateshop.
There’s Jon standing in front of Ignition, the shop and skate park are in two different locations but very close.
Ignition Skatepark, this place was not for the weak, pretty gnarly setup with a thin coat of wax layering every inch of plywood.
Brandon Smith and Oli Short keeping busy playing some ping pong at the park.
Oli Short, and what’s that in his hand?
Some yummy Kaiserkraner Sausage at the local bar next to gagi’s house after the skatepark session.
After dinner we met up at Gabriel Hyden’s house in downtown Salzburg, Austria and walked to the bar. Team One Mag and Valo in town.
