In Part 10, the guys are up at 4am again today for a bus ride to Babahoyo, Ecuador. In the heat of the day, they sweat through a session at the local skatepark while the equator furnace blazes down upon them. Fighting back with sunblock, fruit cups, plastic pouches of water, they still manage to rip the park. John decides it’s time to bring the Wild Gecko shorts into play, which marked a monumental milestone for this tour.

Nimh South America Tour Part 5 – Street Sessions in Bogota, Colombia

After the Chinchina contest we came back to Bogota and had two street skating sessions. It was great to see a bunch of people out skating with us and pushing themselves. Some of my favorite spots were the random alleyway spots we found along the way, like a perfect brick quarter pipe on the side of a building. It was a lot of fun. Sweet.

Here we’ve got some left-over footage that Jero sent in straight from South America some hours ago. Montre Livingston and John Bolino are giving interviews for the Colombian TV. The local rollers are stoked to have some of the world’s most respected Rollerbladers as their guests in Colombia. The viewer, far away from the action and the pure life, is stoked as well, planning their own trip to vibrant Colombia. Check out this special tour feature.

Jeremy Stephenson just send in the next update. As you can see in the edit and on the pictures, the NIMH tourists seem to be far off a city’s usual infrastructure. So we are glad Jeremy somehow succeeded in sending us another exclusive and authentic content. Everything seems to be great on the tour so far and John and Montre obviously get the full South American treatment – by having shots at 06:30 in the morning.

Jon Elliott in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Jon and Damien Wilson left this past Tuesday for a 22 hour trip to Dubai. From Dubai he would head to the Capital city of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. A government sponsored extreme sports and graffiti event is happening there this week. I hadn’t heard from Jon in two days and feared the worst, however he checked in today and sent a couple of photos as a teaser to his trip.
