Montre Livingston and John Bolino continue their shred tour through South America. Find out what happened to the NIMH Pro Team in Babahoyo, Ecuador.

In Part 10, the guys are up at 4am again today for a bus ride to Babahoyo, Ecuador. In the heat of the day, they sweat through a session at the local skatepark while the equator furnace blazes down upon them. Fighting back with sunblock, fruit cups, plastic pouches of water, they still manage to rip the park. John decides it’s time to bring the Wild Gecko shorts into play, which marked a monumental milestone for this tour.

I loaded Joey Chase, Jeremy Spira, Montre Livingston and Matty Shrock in my car. Through the sandy roads of the dry hot and brutal desert, we sought solace from the weather by driving at night. This week would be full of endless nights and cloudy dreams. NIMH Week!

John and Montre arrived in Quito, Ecuador and begin the tour through the country with the guys from Artextremo. Riding on a new private tour bus, they wind through the mountains stopping at skate parks and cities along the way, showing Ecuador some of the best skating it’s ever seen.

After the Chinchina contest we came back to Bogota and had two street skating sessions. It was great to see a bunch of people out skating with us and pushing themselves. Some of my favorite spots were the random alleyway spots we found along the way, like a perfect brick quarter pipe on the side of a building. It was a lot of fun. Sweet.
